Roots: Nihilist, Stockholm & a brewing scene<\/h2>\n

Entombed\u2019s beginnings are tightly linked to the late-1980s Stockholm metal underground. Several core players emerged from the band Nihilist, a group that dissolved in 1987 amid creative differences. Rather than scatter, many of those musicians regrouped and, shortly after, Entombed began to take shape.
