I have to admit, I haven’t kept up with Kreator in recent times. In fact I only really know their early albums so this will be an interesting exercise for me to review this one. Kreator Krushers of the World is their new album from 2026 so lets jam it in there and see how it goes.
The album opens up with “Seven Serpents” a very layered and clean studio sound greets the ears into some pummelling euro death metal. This is instantly very classy stuff, then those trade mark “Mille” vocals kick in. While the music may have progressed its refreshing to hear those vocals. When I say the music has progressed I still feel this has kept the spirit of early Kreator but just better. Kreator are a successful band and releases like this only cement their reputation. The Second song “Satanic Anarchy” has more of an Arch enemy feel to it, very classy stuff
“Barbarian” brings back a lot of the old school feel with a hammering intro and some great riffage that the old school fans will dig big time. The solo’s on this album are really good too, rather melodic for such hammering music but the true art is in making this stuff fit and Kreator pull it off rather well. “Blood of our Blood” is a another absolutely ball tearing old school metal assault, its so fast that this may actually outstrip slayer in terms of speed for the opening section.
Over all this is a really cool release from a band that has been going a long time and still delivering Krushing heavy metal that would destroy young players half their age. There are no dud tracks on this and this will appeal to a newer fans while showing them how thrash metal extremity is achieved. The fast bits are REALLY FAST and. the melodic (But still really heavy) riffs are just sublime. It really warms my heart that bands from my vintage are still doing this well. Great job lads!
